About Doggy Walking
I am the proud owner of Doggy Walking. We have been in business since 2008. Since starting the business in Mosman and only offering dog walking, we then went on to offer services for all your pet needs – regular or holiday services including walking, minding, sitting, feeding, visiting and we service all of Sydney. And now we also love cats too!
A bit about me..
My name is Cath Patrech and I have my qualification through the National Dog Trainers Federation (NDTF) and have also had specific training on running Puppy Class.
I currently live in an apartment so I have a small dog (Mini Schnauzer x Maltese), her name is Sassi and she is 5 years old. She is a very good little girl, we love teaching her new tricks, besides the basic commands, she can also do beg, stand on back legs, walk on back legs only, dance on 2 legs and twirl around, crawl along the ground, jump through a hoop, retrieve items I point to with a laser pointer and I am always looking for new tricks, and enjoy training other dogs tricks.

About my Dogs
Sassi loves to play tug of war and fetching the ball as well as just lazing around, she enjoys laying on my lap watching tv with us. I have grown up with our family having dogs my whole life – Cocker Spaniels, stray mixes of all sizes that mum couldn’t resist saying no to, Rough Collie’s, German Shepherds. My first dog after leaving home was a German Shepherd which I took to the local dog training club and enjoyed learning more about training. I also studied being a Vet Assistant at Tafe but after finishing the course, I realised I would probably end up crying every day seeing the animals in pain or being put down!
So now, almost 20 years later I work with dogs every day – I have been a dog walker in my own business since 2008 and absolutely love it. It has been a great way to get to know different breeds and traits and is a great way to use my training skills. It’s been great socialisation for my own dog too. I am so lucky I get to do something I love everyday. And who could resist cute puppies – I couldn’t resist wanting to train puppies.

Emma
Emma is completing a bachelor of animal science and couldn’t think of anything she would rather do in her time outside of studying than to spend time with the animals she loves.
Robert
Robert has his own part time business from home and is unable to have a pet of his own in his apartment so loves spending time spoiling our clients pets. He loves being outdoors and having a furry friend with him is a great excuse to exercise.
Lisa
Lisa is a qualified vet nurse and is a mother of 2 school children. She has always enjoyed spending time with animals and really missed it after becoming a mother, she is enjoying being able to get back to doing something she enjoys while the kids are at school
Julie
Julie works part time at a pet store and is very happy that she can work outside and enjoy more hands on contact with animals. She shares her home with her pet dog “Snoopy”
Brett
Brett works in the hospitality industry at nights so enjoys having days free to do something he enjoys – walking dogs and just being around animals in general.
